What is the best brand of rollerskates (quads)?
I am just learning to rollerskate again (I am 45) by training with a roller derby league that has started up in my area. It’s going well and I love it.
The time has come to buy my own rollerskates and gear.
What brand of skates and/or protective gear do you think stands out and why?

Thanks for your time in answering. I am already in contact with sin city and know of their rookie packs. I was seeking a discussion of the pros and cons of different brands etc. from people who skate – not the hype from the roller companies.

Check with your team captain before purchasing off of here because Sin city sponsors a lot of teams and if you’re one you may be able to get a discount!
Before buying anything ask your captain if any skate shops or websites sponsor you so you can get an awesome deal.
